Beauty Find Review #2. Philips Lumea IPL Hair Removal Advance

Let’s dive right into it: body hair… ugh, no go. That is why I come here today to tell you about my great acquisition. What is IPL? This stands for Intense Pulsed Light, treating larger areas like a flash of light which makes it a bit different from laser which focuses more on a specific section.
So, without further ado: I do like Philips Lumea and I can see a big difference after using it, the key: be consistent. For actually removing and seeing results, it is necessary to do at least 8 sessions every 15 days or every 2 weeks, as well as adjusting the intensity of the flashes depending on your skin tone and thickness of hair.
Although laser is more often used for hair removal, acne treatment, and wrinkles because is more precise and deeper, it does not mean IPL is not as good, it just takes more sessions to get the desired results. I chose Philips Lumea because I do not want to spend more money than I need to and I can do it myself in the comfort of my own home!
It is a fair price for a trusted known brand. Oh and this one comes with a Compact Pen Trimmer!
